KEEPING OUR DREAMS ALIVE

Proverbs 29:18
Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

Everyone has his/her own dream. When we were young, we vision to be a good actress, a successful businessman, nurse, teacher, pilot, superman or any profession we would love to be. However, as children, those are mere wishful thinking and more often we tend to forget those dreams as we grow.

Now that we are growing up, we should know what the difference of wishes and dreams is. Dreams are needed to be fulfilled. All through life, hindrances and contrasting forces will come to keep us away from our goals. Discouragements, unjust situation, and upsets will be there to put off us from keeping those thoughts alive. But, you must be stronger than those adversities, know that we have a BIG GOD who is bigger than any failures. If we see that our dream dies, dream another and this time bigger, yes, bigger!!

Bring out those talents, skills and gifts our God has placed in us. We may have suffered so many breakdowns in the past but what matters now is the present and all the days to come. Our fervent, permanent and sincere prayers are our best weapon to conquer all the hardships coming our way.

"In fact, the Latin word for “desire” means “from the Father.” One way to tell if a dream is really from God is that the desire won’t go away. You may have had it for years, but you still can’t let it go. In fact, you may have tried to let it go, but it won’t let go of you."- Pastor Joel

Happy Sunday and God bless!!!
